A beach town, Ocean Beach, located in San Diego is not too far from the airport and minutes away from Cabrillo National Monument, Point Loma, and Mission Valley.

There are a wide variety of surf lessons and surf camps in San Diego that make it easy to learn to surf. Surfing isn't just a sport, but also a form of therapy. It helps you de-stress and puts your worries and spiritual awakening aside while allowing you to relax and meditate, maintain your overall health, and enjoy the setting sun as dolphins pass by. You may come to San Diego Surf School in Pacific Beach for two reasons: to learn to surf, or to take advanced surf lessons.

Within 90 minutes, you should have a solid understanding of the basic concepts of pop-up waves, wave timing, and paddling. During the first 10 minutes, the main goal is to teach participants about water entry, water safety, and how to enter the water correctly and safely. Epic surfing and tailored surf instruction await you over the next 80 minutes.
