Janice G Shop - Gifts of exceptional quality on the special occasion of acknowledging sobriety. 

The God Box is a place where you can go to write down your problems and then place them inside the box in the hope that God would help you solve them. 

We run a handcrafted gift business out of Los Angeles, California, which is owned by a woman who is in recovery and is in charge of its day-to-day operations. Our primary focus is on the recovery and AA communities, as well as the many ways in which significant program anniversaries can be celebrated in a meaningful way. Our gifts have been conceptualized, cut/engraved, painted, assembled, and finished in their whole solely within the borders of the United States of America. In the past, a "GOD BOX" was nothing more than an unused coffee can with a slot cut into the plastic lid to store one's anxieties. Today, however, there are more elaborate versions of this device. 

GOD BOX - Flex top

The concept that "I can't, but God can" served as the foundation for it. Even if the message has not shifted, the physical object has evolved into a more individualized prayer box that incorporates, if you like, some parameters. This is the case even though the meaning has remained the same. After jotting down your concerns on a scrap of paper, saying a little prayer, and then placing the note in the container, you perform as follows: You make the decision to open the box after a year has passed, and once you do, you discover the answers to your prayers arranged in ways that you could never have anticipated. A light box made of wood with embellishments that highlight the significance of being present in one's own life at all times. Each of these boxes has been carved and dyed by hand before being pieced together with the assistance of a laser cutter.

Each side of the ring features a sentence or phrase fragment from the Serenity prayer carved into the surface. hand-worked using baltic birch wood that was produced through the use of sustainable logging practices.
